  1. I am so sorry to hear of Hendrick Stooker’s passing. Occidental College used to have the greatest art shows when he was their curator. He got me to join the Arroyo Arts Collective in its early days. He also told me it was my duty to join the Highland Park Heritage Trust.
He made sure to tell me when it was time to vote in the Neighborhood Council. Whatever he thought was important, he made sure others participated as well. Always cheerful, he was the type of activist that lead by example. I will greatly miss him.
