  • Diablo, the new Silver Lake taco and Mexican restaurant, is in the process of adding new side dishes and some lower-priced tacos, said managing partner Summer Stearns. • Atwater Village awaits the opening of two new shop on Glendale Boulevard, reports Atwater Village Now. They include a new boba, shake and coffee  spot called Boba Loca (love that name) and Vox Populi, a music venue and partnership between the owners of Kaldi Coffee and Jacknife Records.
  • Matter of Space, the Highland Park interior design firm and art space,  has caught the attention of the Los Angeles I’m Yours blog with reclaimed rope necklaces.
  • City Sip, the Echo Park wine bar, reopens today after a week-long makeover, reports Patch. Expect new comfy couches as well as a “comfort menu” to complement the wine list.
