  1. Great photo!

  2. Dear Eastsider LA,

Just a quick note of thanks from the men and women of the LAFD for including the fire safety link above – as well as other Los Angeles Fire Department related links, posts and messages throughout the year. Kindly accept our best wishes for a safe and joyous holiday season.

Respectfully Yours in Safety and Service,

  3. Re the $850,000 house for sale — they might be listing it for that, but that doesn’t make it worth that much. Zillow says even with its five bedrooms, its not worth anything even near that, is only worth $656,071.

    Can you spell S-U-C-K-E-R?

Chances are this is what real estate agents call a “setup house,” where they intentionally seriously overprice a listing to point to when trying to sell other homes in the area, to scare buyers into thinking a high price on the others is cheap.
