Lost: Tuxedo Cat in Echo Park*

Submitted by Alex

Kitty went missing from Park Drive in Elysian Heights on Saturday 4-27 during the daytime. He is a black and white short haired tuxedo cat. He is small and lean about 4 years old. It is very unlike him to go missing like this, especially during the daytime, so we are worried he may be trapped some where.

Thanks for any help!

* Update: Kitty has been found!

  1. Are tuxedo cats especially adventurous? This is the third or fourth one that’s been posted here under lost cats recently.

  2. He is found! Yay! We are so happy 🙂

  3. I hope that the owner keeps this cat indoors only. I know too many people who let their cats outdoors – with all the traffic and coyotes (yes, I’ve seen them in Echo Park), the Eastside is not a habitat the encourages longevity for our felines.

Yes, unfortunately our tuxedo cat (who was on this site a few months ago) succumbed to coyotes. These owners are so lucky to have found their cat in time!
