Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies converged on the Bank of America branch on Atlantic Boulevard about 9 A.M. on Wednesday morning, responding apparently to a suspicious package incident which appears to have been a false alarm. Customers and employees were kept outside the East Los Angeles bank until the matter was cleared.

This was the same bank that was robbed last September by two men who kidnapped the branch manager.
