Blaze breaks out in Elysian Heights home

fireFirefighters this morning put out a small fire that broke out in the basement of a two-story home in Elysian Heights, according to the L.A. Fire Department Twitter feed.   There were no reports of injuries from the fire, which was reported at about 8:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of Oak Glen Place.   Firefighters knocked down the blaze in about 15 minutes.

  3. I live in this general area and there was a large response from the fire department last night around 2am, is this the same fire? I could see the fire trucks, but it looked like they were around the Whitmore ave area.
