Are you seeking happiness and success? So is the featured character in “BOB,” a comedy opening Saturday, June 8 at the Atwater Village Theatre.  The play by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb’ explores “the American mythology of happiness and success”  as Bob  takes a cross country trip filled with ” wrong turns, lucky breaks, true love and heartbreaking loss.”

Not into happiness or success? How about puppets?  Puppets Retake Northeast Los Angeles in Highland Park is a three-day long celebration of puppets and marionettes, with shows that appeal to children as well as some adult-themed productions.

Other weekend events include Second Saturday Gallery Night, the 13th Annual Los Angeles River Ride and The Bluebird Reading Series.  There is also a Los Feliz school fundraiser with French food (what, no hot dogs?) and our regular farmers’ markets. Visit our Save the Date Calendar for details.
