Bulletin Board: Echo Park neighborhood council seeks candidates for Chief Information Officer

The Greater Echo Park Elysian Neighborhood Council (GEPENC) is seeking candidates to fill an opening for the position of Chief Information Officer.

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will be responsible for maintaining the records of GEPENC, as well as correspondence of the organization. The CIO is also a member of GEPENC’s Executive Committee and is responsible for attending all Executive Committee and Board of Governor’s Meetings. Candidates for CIO must live, work, or own property within GEPENC’s boundaries.

GEPENC has agendized the selection of its new CIO for its regular July meeting, which will take place on July 23, 2013 at 7PM at the Sandra Cisneros Learning Center Auditorium, 1018 Mohawk St., Los Angeles CA 90026.

Also on that same night, GEPENC will select new representatives to fill open seats in District 4 of GEPENC’s territory. District representatives are required to live, work or own property in the District. District 4 includes Angelino Heights and some of the immediate area surrounding Echo Park Lake. Interested candidates are encouraged to attend the meeting and bring a short statement of qualifications. Candidates will be asked to answer questions from the GEPENC Board of Governors.
