Sunrise Over Avenue 53, Highland Park | Eric Gibson

  1. That sounds like it was more than just neighborhood complaints – there was a terrorist attack! At least, I would say that driving a motorcycle onto the curb at a line of people waiting to buy tickets is a terrorist attack. I hope they managed to arrest that person.

    • I suppose it’s also possible I’m overreacting to the description in that story, and perhaps it didn’t happen as the person there described it. But if it happened as described, then it was an attempt to dissuade people from participating in legal activity by making them fear unexpected injuries, which is a pretty standard description of terrorism.

  2. Nooooo! I really wanted to go to Delusion. This should be it’s own story on Eastsider. I’d love to hear the neighbors chime in re: if it was really a problem or if this is all because of one overzealous busybody harassing the organizers.
