Police seek getaway car in connection with Glassell Park killing

The LAPD has released a surveillance photo of  a dark green Ford Mustang  believed to have been used by suspects  in the Nov. 27  fatal shooting of  James Marcus Howe, a reality TV show director and producer, at his Glassell Park home.

Police have been circulating the photo as they search for three suspects involved in the shooting of   Howe and his wife, who survived after suffering serious injuries.  A suspect posing as a solicitor forced his way into the couple’s  West Avenue 42 home and opened fire after a struggle.

The City Council has approved a $75,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Howe’s killer.

The suspects include a black male between the ages of 16 to 22; 5′-10″ tall; 150 pounds; and short hair. The second suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 18 and 25; 5′-10″ tall; and 180 pounds. The third suspect is a black female between the ages of 18 and 25 and a thin build, light complexion and shoulder-length hair.
