Blame the film crew for last night’s Highland Park shooting spree

The barrage of gunfire heard last night near Figueroa Street and Avenue 56 was frequent and noisy – even by Highland Park standards. All that gun fire came courtesy of the cast and crew for Battle Creek, a new TV detective series.  But all those fake gun shots sounded all too real for some, with the police responding to calls and residents awakened well past midnight by the noise, according @HLP90042, which made note of every noisy pop well into the early morning hours. 1. How come the cops had a helicopter flying over my house for three hours last night? For a filming? If so, maybe Hollywood should be more considerate. I even called the police who told me there was a murder suspect in my area at large. I can’t believe this was all caused by a mix up. As a matter of fact I don’t believe it was a mix up. This was purposely done by design.
