Seven injured in Glassell Park traffic collision; five police officers among the injured*

The L.A. Fire Department is responding to a traffic collision in Glassell Park that left at least seven persons, including four police officers, injured shortly before 9 a.m. at 2951 Fletcher Drive near San Fernando Road.  Earlier reports indicated that eight people had been injured.

*Update @ 3:37 pm:  The officers were traveling in an unmarked car when it collided with an SUV, according to a City News Service story. The Northeast Division station is located only a few blocks away from the collision. Seven persons were transported to hospitals, with four in serious condition and three in fair condition, according to LAFD.
