Police looking for suspect in fatal Elysian Park shooting

A 45-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday afternoon in Elysian Park in what may have been a gang-related shooting near Solano Canyon. The LAPD today asked the public for help in finding the suspect who shot the victim multiple times at about 4:35 p.m. at the Elysian Park Adaptive Recreation Center, 929 N. Academy Road. The victim, whose name has not been released, was involved in a dispute with the shooter, according to detectives at the LAPD Northeast Division.
