Crime Check: Car crime in Angeleno Heights & Echo Park; thefts along Figueroa

CrimeMapping.com shows that a cluster of motor-vehicle break-ins took place last week in Angeleno Heights and Echo Park, with at least five reports filed on May 13 and May 14.  Meanwhile, in Highland Park,  petty thefts and shop lifting were a problem on or near Figueroa north of Avenue 58. Four such crimes were reported between May 15-18, according to CrimeMaping.com.  Click on the maps and links below for more details.

  1. Great. Whoever is doing this breaking in and stealing… you realize that you are just punishing the lower-middle class right? We’re all hurting right now. Is the lower middle class really the enemy? And of course the local police force won’t do anything about this except wake everyone up in the middle of the night with some high quality hovering (how much is that helicopter gas per hour again?). These (our) neighborhoods have been burdened by brainless crime for far too long.
