Found in Silver Lake: Friendly orange/white tabby cat

On May 4th, we found a 15lb neutered orange & white male tabby cat near Swan Pl & W. Silver Lake Blvd. He’s a big, sweet, friendly, affectionate cat who really wanted to come inside our apt. He meowed at our front door all night. Today, I finally took him to the North Central Animal Shelter and learned he’s not chipped. We can’t keep him at our place, so I had to leave him there. At least he will be safe from coyotes and traffic, but he’s also on borrowed time. This cat is so loving and snuggly. If this is your cat or if you’re able to help him find a home, please go to the North Central Shelter on Lacy Street in Los Angeles as soon as you can.

His Animal ID is A1475770.

If I were this cat’s family, I would definitely want this guy back home. He might have snuck out, and nobody’s noticed he’s gone. And now that he’s at the shelter, time is of the essence. Please spread the word! Here’s a link to his shelter info: http://www.petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=LACT4.A1475770 Thanks!

Thanks so much! Taking him to the shelter was absolutely the right thing to do. He’ll be safe and in a place where his owners can easily find him. Failing that, he will be put up for adoption to a good home!

  2. Great news! The cat has been picked up from the shelter by his owner! Thanks everyone!
