Is your car covered in purple? Then it must be Jacaranda season

HERMON —  The Jacaranda trees along Monterey Road are putting on quite a show, with purple blossoms creating a colorful canopy overhead and littering the cars and street below with a layer of lavender.   1. I think they are really nice looking but annoying as heck to sweep up especially after they are dried up and smashed by foot and/or car traffic.
