Do you have any ideas for a ”Welcome to Atwater Village” sign? Well, the Atwater Village Neighborhood Council Outreach and Communications Committee would like to hear it. We’ve invited Brett Goldstone, the world renowned artist that designed the various gates that lead into the L.A. River, to explore the possibilities of this exciting venture. The AVNC Outreach Committee is seeking input and partnership with other neighborhood organizations to help enhance Fletcher Drive.

You’re invited to join us on July 7th, at 7:00 p.m., at 3852 Edenhurst Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90039 (Christ’s Church at Griffith Park), to explore the challenges it’s going to take to place a sign at the rock island on Fletcher Drive.

This is just one element of a much larger long stalled plan; we need your help to move these projects forward. For more information, or a copy of the full agenda, please visit our web site at atwatervillage.org.
