  • iThieves: The LAPD’s Northeast Division said more than a dozen MacBooks, iPads and iPhones were stolen in Silver Lake, Echo Park and nearby areas last week. Many of the items were stolen from unlocked vehicles or left in plain sight.
  • The man who orchestrated the robbery of  $565,000 from a Bank of America in East L.A. was sentenced to 14 years in prison, reports L.A. Now.
