  1. Darn, when I saw “tear-down” and a photo of the bank building, I thought maybe we were finally getting rid of that awful building!

    • Personally, I love that building, and know many others that do! Different strokes I guess.

    • Awful Building ??? Are you out of your mind ?
      Get rid of your awful attitude .
      This building has always been a place we pointed to as kids when we were far away and getting
      closer to home-Echo Park….and as kids Watched helicopters land nearly everyday when it was a different bank .
      Its the last thing besides TAIX , and the park itself that evoke childhood memories of Echo Park, and since i still live here, always do.
