Two motorcyclists shot on Boyle Heights freeway [updated]

BOYLE HEIGHTS –  A freeway shooting on the 60 Freeway in Boyle Heights Friday night left two motorcyclists wounded, with six gunshots striking one man in his back, reports CBS2. One of the motorcyclists said he was shot on the freeway near Lorena  Street.

Update: A City News story in the Daily News said one of the victims of was found on the freeway near Lorena Street while the second was able to continue riding eastbound until he exited the freeway at Atlantic Boulevard and came to a stop at a McDonalds’s in East Los Angeles.  Both men who were riding together came under fire at about 11:40 p.m.  Earlier reports had  said the freeway shooting took place early this morning.
