Morning Report: Cyclist dies after Eagle Rock solo-crash; East Side Moto Babes riding high as more women take up motorcycling

  • A Cerritos man died from the injuries he suffered in a solo cycling accident that took place in Eagle Rock last month, reports Hews Media Group.  57-year-old Edgardo Gabat fell to the pavement after either hitting a crack or stone on Colorado Boulevard near Figueroa, according to Hews and a separate report in BikingInLA.com.
  • A gathering of the Eastside Moto Babes in Silver Lake was featured in an L.A. Times story about the growing number of women who have taken up motorcycling as a sport.
