Morning Report: Mt. Washington shooting leaves man injured; police seek public’s help in fatal Boyle Heights killing; historic view of the Silver Lake Reservoir

  • A man was shot five times early this morning while he and a female friend were parked at an overlook in Mt. Washington.  The shooting is believed to be gang-related.  City News Service/Daily News.
  • Police are asking the public for help in connection with the fatal shooting of a 43-year-old man dead last week on South Bernal Avenue in  Boyle Heights.  LAPD.
