Morning Report: Will the Orange Line ever stop in Eagle Rock?; Councilman Huizar’s harassment trial postponed until 2015

News and Notes

  • A judge has moved the sexual harassment trial of 14th District Councilman Jose Huizar from November to March 2015, only one day before Huizar faces off against Gloria Molina and other candidates in the primary election. Sausage Factory.
  • Supporters who want to study extending the Orange Line from the San Fernando Valley to the San Gabriel Valley have mentioned Eagle Rock as being included on the route. Boulevard Sentinel.

  1. Huizar is such a punk scumbag tool. He should have been busted for a DUI and he should be busted for this sexual harassment case…..

  2. What a nice coincidence Huizar’s trial is being postponed! Que casualidad!

  3. Routing the orange line extension through Eagle Rock and on to the San Gabriel Valley sounds like an absolutely great idea. I imagine it could even connect between the North Hollywood red line station and the Memorial Park gold line station in Pasadena. If only these things could happen without interminable delays……and ideally the orange line would finally be converted to light rail.

    If Huizar can help make this happen he has my vote.
