Morning Report: A man who stole an L.A. Fire Department ambulance led police on a pursuit that ended with a crash near the southern edge of Echo Park .... Fire caused heavy damage to a Boyle Heights metal casting business ... Judy Raskin, who led efforts to protect birds and wildlife at Echo Park Lake, has died, according to friends.
