Found in Silver Lake: Brown Pit Bull mix

eastside animals button small
We found this sweet pit bull being chased by coyotes at 11:00 pm, Monday, 10/27, at Hidalgo Ave and Bancroft.

He was very shaken up, but he was not hurt. He’s been taken to the Lacy shelter.

Here’s his listing:

His chip says his name is ‘Caspian’, but the shelter has listed him as ‘Clifton’.

He’s approx 65 lbs, reddish-brown. He had a collar on, but no tag.

  1. UPDATE:
Good news, we’ve been informed that the owner has found and claimed this dog this afternoon!

  2. Oh, Caspian.
If anyone knows the owner would you ask them to bring Caspian by for a visit?
After we scared off the coyotes Caspian wouldn’t leave my side and even followed me in our house when we got him water. He drank TWO full sized big mixing bowls of water my wife gave him! He was exhausted being chased for the longest time up this hill.
My super neighbor had to pull him away from me to get him in the car to take him to the shelter. He’s a great guy for making that trip at 11:30pm, huh?
