  1. From via OnScene.Tv – At about 12:40 am Tuesday, Los Angeles Fire responded to a reported flooding near the intersection of Silver Lake Blvd & Bellevue Ave. Firefighters requested LADWP for a confirmed water main break causing flooding in the northbound lanes of Silver Lake Blvd. A crew from DWP responded within minutes and were able to shut off the water main and will be working through the night to repair the water main line.

  2. Sqirl is a good example of how fucked up shit is. 45 feet up the street you got borrachos drinking rum at 8am while slick dressed assholes who drove from god knows where are lined up for an hour to pay 20 bucks for a coffee and toast. Cmon really a $5 Latte wtf is that, it is a shame. I’m a virgil village gentrifier and I can’t even afford that shit god damn.

  3. My family and I LOVE Sqirl but it has gotten so popular we find we can’t get in any longer under a wait time that we can tolerate. Without them taking reservations or working to move the ordering line along at a more time conscious pace we’ve had to forgo our Sqirl fix going on several weeks now……It’s quite sad really as I truly love their food. We can no longer go to Intelligentsia for similar reasons although the difference at Intelligentsia is it appears to be corporate policy that their employes move purposely in slow motion whereas at Sqirl I believe they have good intentions.
