  1. Gentrification is no accident.

Just researched traffic safety in gentrified neighborhoods is excellent. Hopefully the walk-ability of York and Figueroa will continue, with getting people out of cars, increased bike lanes, boutiques, green space and transportation projects, which will make news stories as these a thing of the past.

  2. Did somebody say stop sign??!! Get the camera crews ready….No fear! Cedillo man is here!

  3. Bike lanes don’t stop people from running stop signs, cyclists are among the worst offenders.
We need to demand better traffic enforcement in NELA. Don’t need more bike lanes no one uses (Colorado?).
    Simply enforce existing laws. Simple.

  4. The scary thing is that this could happen to any of us no matter how careful we are. It only takes one bad or careless driver to wreak havoc. At least when we drive we can insulate ourselves and our families somewhat by purchasing cars with an especially high safety rating but as pedestrians we are as vulnerable as anyone.
