It’s back to school for a Highland Park tortoise

eastside animals button small Highland Park  –  After going missing for a few days,  Truck, a tortoise that has served as the mascot for The Garden Cooperative Nursery School, has been found, parents reported on Sunday.  Not surprisingly, Truck did not get very far, reports parent Jessica Craven:

He had wandered across the street and was rescued by some neighbors. He has been bathed and petted and will be back on the schoolyard tomorrow. Thanks for all of your help!
