eastside animals button small
I lost my 2-year-old female dog named Rachkie on Saturday morning, 12/20/2014 in the Eagle Rock area (Alumni Avenue and Avenue 45). She was last seen on 12/23/2014 around 5p in the area of Glassell Park (El Paso Drive and Toland Way) wandering about loose. She is wearing a black collar. She’s off white/tan color with grey tints on her ears and tail.

  1. Sympathies to the owner, but much more sympathy to the poor dog who slipped away and is now undoubtedly in distress somewhere on the streets. Close your doors, lock your gates, and keep your pets on a leash!

  2. how big is she? is she a taller at all (ie taller than you’d expect for a dog like this)? i saw one yesterday, from a distance but possibly similar, while i was walking my own dog. near cazador and ave 33. this dog i saw then followed a little black chiuahua, but i got the idea that it was playing and didn’t really know the other dog. couldn’t see collar. anyway, it is hard to tell but good luck to you!

  3. try checking on Lost and Found Paws in Los Angeles Metro area page on Facebook. People crosspost lost and found pets there. There was a sighting shared today of a dog near Huntington Park, that could be similar. In photo dog looks grey and hair longer but person who saw it said dog is white and very dirty, with blackish collar and little chain. Worth a try to check the page to see if there. Bets of luck to you.
