HIGHLAND PARK — Catch the parade of classic vintage cars motoring through Highland Park on Sunday? Nearly 100 authentic model As, Ts, jalopies, cruisers and luxury automobiles filled Galco’s Soda Pop Stop on York Boulevard to capacity as part of the Horseless Carriage Club of Southern California annual Holiday Motor Excursion.

Fords, Studebakers, Lincolns, motorcycles (Harley and Indian) along with an honest to-goodness Stanely Steamer were among the vehicles that trekked from Irwindale to Highland Park and back again.

The club hosts monthly treks, but the Holiday Motor Excursion is the highlight for members, their families and pets. It’s traditionally held on the Sunday right after Christmas.
