ECHO PARK — At least 15 vehicles have been broken into or were stolen during the past week in the Echo Park area, according to a review of incidents on CrimeMapping.com between Jan. 29 and Feb. 4. The crimes took place across the area, from Elysian Heights on the north to Angeleno Heights on the south. Monday, Feb. 2 was an especially busy day, with eight break-ins and vehicle thefts reported.
