Bulletin Board: Screwball Spelling Bee, March 14!

Submitted by Cecily Rose Scharlin, Cooperative Nursery School

So you think you can spell? Two local preschools, LA Family School and Rose Scharlin, are vying to outspell one another in a night of improv and fun at their first adults-only Screwball Spelling Bee, from the creators of the Tony-award winning “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.”

The bar opens at 6:30 pm at the TCA Arshag Dickranian Armenian School at 1200 North Cahuenga Boulevard, 90038. DJ Aire will be at the turntables before the show, which begins at 7:30, and during intermission.

Tickets are $20, which includes admission and one drink, and the event is adults-only. A bar with food, beer, wine and cocktails will be available before the show and during intermission.

You can purchase tickets online through PayPal at http://rosescharlin.com/news-events/events/donate-to-the-screwball-spelling-bee/

Come have a laugh, a drink, and support two great schools!

If you’re unable to attend but want to support the students, you can always donate directly to either school by choosing a team at Rose Scharlin (http://rosescharlin.com/category/news-events/events/) or at LA Family School (http://www.lafamilyschool.org/). Thank you!
