Sheriff searching for East L.A. robbery suspects


EAST LOS ANGELES — A woman who was confronted by two masked robbers inside her home this morning was bound with duct tape while the robbers ransacked the residence.

The robbers, described as male Latinos wearing ski masks, fled on foot following the robbery that took place at about 8 a.m. in the 4200 block of Fisher Street, according to an advisory sent out by the East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station. The victim said she was returning home when she encountered the robbers.

An officer at the station said there have been no other recent reports of home invasion robberies in the area.
