Looks like Eastside car and truck thieves decided to spend most of their time in Boyle Heights and East L.A. during the last week, when about 30 vehicles were stolen, according to CrimeMapping.com. In addition, there were several vehicle break-ins as well.

At least eight cars were stolen in Boyle Heights – which is located west of Indiana Street – between April 13 and April 19, according to CrimeMapping.com.

In unincorporated East Los Angeles,  where most of last week’s motor vehicle thefts took place, there were two large clusters of thefts. One was between Gage Avenue and Indiana Street (shown above) in the western part of the community. The other was located in the southeastern section of East L.A., between Beverly Boulevard and Whittier Boulevard, according to CrimeMapping.com.
