Highland Park football coach suspected of sexually assaulting students

HIGHLAND PARK — A volunteer football coach at Franklin High has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting current and former students during his nearly 20 years of working with players.

Investigators believe that 46-year-old Jaime Jimenez may have victimized former students who are now adults and are urging them to come forward. Jimenez had been coaching football  players at the Highland Park school from 1998 up until his arrest on April 16.
