Car break-in suspect arrested in Silver Lake


SILVER LAKE — A person suspected of stealing items from motor vehicles was arrested early this morning  after police responded to a report of a suspicious person looking into parked vehicles.

The Northeast LAPD division said the suspect had stolen items in his possession when he was arrested near Griffith Park Boulevard and Lucile Avenue. Some of the property has already been returned to the owners. Anyone whose vehicle was recently broken into can contact  Northeast Division detectives at (323) 344-5731 to identify stolen property.
