Looking for an excuse to dress up and get down? The Silverlake Independent Jewish Community Center’s Spring Gala has all the best parts of a good party—think open bar, live music, DJ, dance floor, and selfie booth—with none of the boring stuff. (We’ve nixed the silent auction, long speeches, and “Who is that?” honorees.) Wear your flashy finest and enter the raffle to win nights at the Ace Palm Springs or The Line Hotel in Koreatown, plus packages from a few of our favorite local merchants. Proceeds benefit the JCC’s efforts to bring unique, innovative arts and cultural programming to our neighborhood.

The SIJCC has been serving Silver Lake, Echo Park, Hollywood, Glendale and Los Feliz for over 50 years. In addition to their very popular Preschool, their campus is also home to the growing Jewish Learning Center, East Side Jews, the Chinese Cultural Center and Klub Gymnastics, which offer classes to hundreds of children and adults on the east side. They recently introduced a co-working space, and offer classes in dance, theatre, art and more to the public.

Tickets are $75 per person or two tickets for $140. Tickets are available online at sijccgala2015.eventbrite.com. Deadline for RSVP is 5:00 pm on Friday, May 29.

Contact Zan Romanoff at [email protected] or by phone at 323 663 2255 ext. 105.
