Found in Mt. Washington: French Bulldog and Lowrider Pitbull

Found two dogs wandering up Crane Blvd. in Mt Washington. Male lowrider pit mix, female French bulldog, both intact and collarless. VERY friendly and appear to be bonded. Atwater bridge has a lock on love

ATWATER VILLAGE -- The L.A. Times reports that the City of Paris is about remove thousands of "love locks" that have been attached by love-struck couples and others to the Pont des Arts footbridge and other locations across the French capital. But in Atwater Village, couples and others who want to express their long-lasting commitment can still hang their padlocks on the Sunnynook foot bridge that crosses over the Los Angeles River. In fact, the Atwater Love Lock Bridge even has a Facebook page.

Flippers seeking a $354,000 markup on Boyle Heights landmark

BOYLE HEIGHTS — The Simon Francois Gless Farmhouse on Boyle Avenue was built in 1886 as Boyle Heights was beginning to take shape as one Los Angeles’ first suburbs. The Queen Anne Style home was declared a city historic landmark a few years ago with the support of actress Sharon Gless and other Gless family members. Now, the property that was purchased last December for $525,000 is back on the market at $879,000.
