Water main breaks in Highland Park

HIGHLAND PARK — LADWP crews were working to repair a busted eight-inch water main that flooded Monte Vista Street, buckled pavement and cut off water service early this morning.

About 30 LADWP customers were left without water after the pipe broke at about 3:30 a.m. on Monte Vista Street near Avenue 55. The agency estimated that it will be noon before full water service is restored.
