Glassell Park blaze breaks out in commercial building

GLASSELL PARK — It took 125 firefighters nearly an hour to knock down an early morning fire that caused heavy damage to a stage set building company in the 2500 block of San Fernando Road.

Part of the roof of the building collapsed during the fire, which was reported at about 12:30 a.m., according to the L.A. Fire Department. There were no reports of injuries.

The building is occupied by All Sets Design and Construction, according to NBC LA.  No word yet on what caused the blaze.

While the fire was burning, DWP crews responded nearby to the scene of a water main break, according to the fire department.
