Grass fire burns two acres in Debs Park

More than 100 firefighters were deployed  to put out a grass fire that burned about two acres on a hilltop in Debs Park this afternoon, according to the L.A. Fire Department.

Units on the ground were assisted by water-dropping helicopters to control the blaze, which was reported at about 2:30 p.m.  The fire was reported contained shortly before 4 p.m.
