  1. SO very sick of the daily water main breaks in this city. I’m on Benton Way, and we’re still waiting for the water to be turned on, but they say it’ll be hours. This city is too large and unable to maintain its infrastructure. Today on Curbed LA, they point out a new study which shows that over 73% of L.A. streets are in terrible shape. Where are all of our tax dollars going towards? Not road, bridge or water main maintenance.

The city should be broken up into smaller cities or boroughs, with each given power over tax dollar expenditures within its borders. City Hall can’t seemingly come up with the $$ or a plan to fix our infrastructure, so it’s time to make a change.

  2. We are on Benton Way and just walked to the break. The woman working said there has been a water main break in LA every day for the last three weeks. She said they are aiming to fix it by 12pm. Good to know they have lots of experience. Man.

    • Was the water turned back on? Just walked by and a crew was still working, but maybe they were cleaning up.

  3. Its been off and on all day. It’s off right now too.
