A New Magnet School in Town

Clifford Math and Technology Magnet is in its first year as a specialized school for the Los Angeles Unified School District. Clifford joins only 210 magnet schools out of the 1,235 schools in the district. The LAUSD School Board approved the plan put together by the school faculty to focus on using technology to advance mathematical thinking and using project based learning activities to engage students. “Spanish Castle” fixer-upper sells for nearly $1m in Glassell Park; Atwater Village bunglaow sells for $136k over asking & more

A couple of huge compounds recently sold on the Eastside, including what's described as a "Spanish castle" in need of fixing up that went for nearly a million dollars in Glassell Park, and a 3,500 square-foot property with a main house and guest unit that sold in Silver Lake for nearly $1.9 million. A perfectly humble, little bungalow in Atwater Village sold for $735,000 -- $136,000 over its original list price.
