3200 hyperion

LOS FELIZ  —  Police are investigating the discovery of a man’s decomposing body this morning inside the backseat of a parked car near the Glendale-Hyperion Bridge on the border of Los Feliz and Silver Lake.

A transient this morning reported seeing a body slumped in the backseat of a vehicle parked in the 3200 block of Hyperion Avenue, a cul de sac just north of the bridge near Riverside Drive, said Sgt. David Armas with the LAPD Northeast Division. Officers found the body of a man wrapped in a blanket. He may have been dead for several days, Armas said.

Detectives are trying to determine if foul play was involved, he said.
