Silver Lake liquor store serves as the stage for a dark comedy

SILVER LAKE -- Bogie's is like countless other neighborhood liquor stores across L.A. Its windows are plastered with posters and the shelves and coolers are stocked with the typical combination of Diet Coke, Monster drinks and cases of beer and wine. Teen stabbed to death in East L.A.; Eagle Rock High gets a quake warning system

MORNING REPORT: A 17-year-old male was fatally stabbed in the 5000 block of Whittier Boulevard Friday night. The victim, who was stabbed in the upper torso, was pronounced dead at a hospital ....
