Reward issued in East L.A. murder; mourning the changes of Echo Park

MORNING REPORT: The L.A. County Board of Supervisors approved a $20,000 reward in connection with the May 2014 killing of Alex Gines, who was shot dead while walking on the 900 block of S. Kern Ave. in East Los Angeles .... A former Echo Park resident returns to find a neighborhood changed by gentrification.
