Casbah Café roasts Silver Lake; Wax Paper’s on in Frogtown; indie trunk show in Los Feliz


The owners of Casbah Café had a lot to say in a statement released on Thursday about its sudden closure after nearly 20 years of serving coffee and pastries in Silver Lake, reports Eater LA.  In addition to thanking customers for their support, the statement also include references to Silver Lake being “gone for good,”  greedy landlords and “corporate businesses just down the street wanting to be celebrities.”
