  • The on going transformation of an industrial property in Lincoln Heights into a new park shows the challenges and costs that may face a proposal to turn a nearby rail yard into the home for 17,000 athletes and staff if the city hosts the 2024 Olympics. The city has spent six years and $38 million on the Albion Dairy site but still has two more years to go before the park  project is completed.  L.A. Times
