  • A stabbing in Echo Park early this morning left one man in critical but stable condition and another with less serious injuries, police said. The two men, who had been drinking,  emerged from a liquor store when they became involved in a fight at about 1.a.m. with unknown suspects near the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Laveta Terrace, said Sgt. Stacy Vandersall at the LAPD Rampart Division.  The suspects remain at large.
