Silver Lake area shooting leaves man wounded

SILVER LAKE — One man was shot Wednesday night near Benton Way and the 101 Freeway during what may have been a neighbor dispute, according to KTLA.

The victim, described as a man in his 30s, was in grave condition following the shooting that took place at about 8:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Benton Way.  An LAPD spokeswoman had no updates on the incident this morning.

  3. This is Echo Park. Take it from a native Angeleno, a rule of thumb is look at the zip code… Any thing 90039 is Silver Lake, 90026 is Echo Park. Unless rules have changed (I know some places have been called whatever the city council feels like calling certain trendy areas), thats how you know the difference. 👍
